For years Crooked Oak alumni have been donating their time and their money to projects meant to enhance the lives of current students. We have also donated to projects that remind us of the wonderful administrators, teachers, coaches and fellow classmates we have had. Possibly the most important to be remembered and honored are the families that have touched us. The Deane and Joy Vice Family Memorial Scholarship was originated to assist worthy Crooked Oak students with their continued education needs. The children and grandchildren of Deane and Joy Vice have quietly donated the vast majority of the funds for these scholarships. It is the time of the year that a committee is started to choose the students that receive scholarships. Obviously, the more money that is raised the more there is to donate to worthy students. Won’t you please join me in donating to the Vice Family Scholarship and help a Crooked Oak student with a lasting gift.
