I just wandered if you’ve heard about the very recent dog abductions happening in Leigh, Westcliffe, Eastwood etc? In brief- Two men and one woman using a white transit van and are mainly targeting lone females walking dogs. The victim is distracted by the female while one of the men gives the dog treats and fuss, he then grabs the dog and they all drive off. The apparent reason is the dogs are then used as bait in dog fights. Really awful! I found this out on Monday at Hadleigh Castle because someone had put up a sign and have since spoken to a police officer and a local vet who both have confirmed it’s not an isolated incident and is happening frequently. Would you be able to send something round to your contacts so word gets out and people can protect their pets.
