Found: ONE Scout Trailer: Is your troops missing? We were recently contacted by Doug Brooks of the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles enforcement division. They have recovered a stolen trailer that appears to have been a scout troop trailer. The identification numbers have been removed so it makes it difficult for the State DMV to track down the rightful owner. The trailer is 6 X 10, it is a Pace brand Rally model. It is single axel with a single rear door that hinges on the right side. It is 1999 or older and has a dealer advertisement sticker that indicates it was purchased from Lone Peak Trailers. It is currently located at the impound lot located at Price Auto in Sandy, Utah. If you think this may be your trailer please contact officer Brooks at 801 330 4989. He also suggests that if you have a scout trailer that you mark it in several inconspicuous places with your troop number and the last 6 digits of the VIN. Another suggestion that officer Brooks made is to use an arc welder to permanently inscribe the VIN on the trailer frame rails. Thanks, The Great Salt Lake Council
