Found this bell in a park very close to the prk by the 401 and black creek drive. Can be seen off the 401 eastbound after passing Weston Rd. and crossing Wendel ave. Did something STUPID.... and cleaned it with peroxide which didnt remove the mineral crustiness so I used some toilet cleaner containing muriatic acid. Should have used CLR! Watched as the silver plate started to dissolve off with the mineral deposits, so threw it into some water right away, but the damage is done. Might have it replated. The Shield looks like a Harley emblem........Probably, not that old, but old enough that is was made well, (solid)..back in the day when things were made to last, not the disposable mentality..of today.
