Four weeks until my first half marathon running around Rochester. Im not gonna lie...yesterdays 10 mile run seriously kicked my ASS and I am so looking forward to this brutal training being done and going back to my normal 3-4 mile runs 3-4 times a week just for health. 16 months ago I was struggling to run 90 seconds, so I need to trust that with every struggle through and completion of task, my body grows stronger and more prepared to complete my goal of 13.1 miles. I also pray that the excitement of the day & seeing my family and friends out supporting me, the energy in the air and the beauty of the Flower City will carry me through and help me achieve that goal. I may be scared at times but I am strong, I am determined, I am capable, I will meet the challenge...I deserve this and I will cross that finish line
