Frani x Allistor: Chapter 2 Frani walked up to the door and paused, looking up at the house. She wasn’t entirely sure why she wanted to come here so much…. but she did, so here she was. Frani sighed to herself and knocked. Hearing swearing and stumbling nearing the door, she couldn’t help but smile. She looked up at the tall redhead that answered, looking a bit disheveled. He spoke before the door wasn’t even all the way open when he began speaking, “W’at in the name of- oh. Hey t’ere Francois.” “Bonjour mon ami,” she smiled, chuckling. “How are you?” “Doin’ fine I suppose. I didn’ expect to see you ‘ere.” “You remember what you said, don’t you?” she smiled. “About me brightening your mood?” “Aye, I remember. Didn’ know if you would,” he smiled, his Scottish accent as thick as ever. “My memory isn’t that bad! Mon deur,” she shook her head, the light smile still on her features. He raised his hands in a defensive position. “I wasn’t sayin’ that Francois!” “Sure you weren’t. And I told you to call me Frani, mon ami,” she smirked. “Aye, t’at you did… Frani,” he said, testing the phrase in his mouth. Her face lit up in a smile. “Better,” she grinned. “Anyway… do ya wanna come in?” he asked, stepping aside to clear the doorway. “Well, t’at was my intention…” she trailed off. He gestured for her to step inside, so she did so. “Merci,” she nodded. He chuckled softly. “Welcome. Say, are ya hungry?” “A little I suppose,” she admitted. As she finished her sentence, she stomach rumbled loudly. Scotland laughed, and Francois smiled sheepishly. “’ere, c’mon,” he smiled, tugging her into his living room, “Wait here. I’ll get ya somethin’ to eat.” She nodded in thanks and sat on a brown leather sofa. He gave a small wave and left. She chuckled after him; she was glad that he was home and that she had come. She pulled out a small leather bound book and began writing in it. She became so focused in her writing that she didn’t even hear him come back in with snacks. He quietly set the tray down on the table and leaned over her. He swiftly took the book from her. Frani’s eyes widened. “Si vous plait, give is back!” she exclaimed, reaching for it. He stepped back, holding her at an arm’s length and gently pushed her back on the couch. She sighed and resented. Allistor’s eyes widened gently as he read. The book contained poems, songs, pieces of novels… he read what he could- lots of it was in French- and a smile spread across his features. He looked up at her and blinked. He had never seen her look so… scared. Like what he said right now actually really meant something right now. “Did ya write all t’is yourself?” he asked her with a smile. “Oui,” Frani nodded softly. “It’s really good. Really,” he said honestly. She blinked. “Really…?” “Absolutely. I like it a lot.” Her face lit up in a big smile. “Merci… merci beaucoup Allistor. That really means a lot to me.” Frani was still smiling at him. “Not a problem,” he said after a moment. “You s’ould keep writin’ this stuff, okay?” She nodded eagerly. “Why are ya so excited?” he chuckled. “Because… Because I am very glad you like my writing. It… that makes me very very happy, Allistor. You have no idea,” the blonde smiled warmly, a bit of her hair falling in her fae. “….Aye, I t’ink I do,” he smiled, tucking her hair back behind her ear.” {I hope you all enjoy this! I have fun writing these } ~Frani & Lyssa
