Free full lease (off property): Rain is a 5 year old (04-10-09) Thoroughbred mare by Saxon who stands at approximately 15hh. Since she came to me in January 2014 she hasnt had much work done with her so she is fresh. But in saying that, during her time off shes had complete beginners ride her bareback in a halter in her paddock (walk and trot) with no problems at all and had small children sit on her. Rain has always been a pleasure to ride whether its tacked up in the arena or just a bareback plod in the yard. She tends to work long and low, and isnt too fast or too lazy. She has been ridden out next to roads (even to Hungry Jacks in Wanneroo) and shes been ridden in the pines (not by me, but I was there). Rain is a beautifully put together horse with lovely movement and she loves to jump. Because of this I believe she would excel in showing whether its hacking, show jumping, or anything you please. Her only downfall is that she is a windsucker, but dont let that put you off. She has a ton of character and shes constantly making everyone laugh and all who meet her fall in love with her quirky personality. Shes also extremely photogenic! She also knows how to bow and hug for treats. She does have two small scars on her neck from a windsucking collar, not sure if they can be covered up because Im not into showing. Although Rain is generally a quiet horse, Id prefer she went to an experienced and/or show home (show home not necessary). PLENTY of pictures and videos available for anyone genuinely interested. Please if you are just relearning to ride, or inexperienced dont apply! Would also prefer someone 18+ but thats negotiable for the right home.
