French immersed second-graders and Loyola’s graphic design students combine to form an engaging service learning project: ow.ly/w7l8u Fifty second graders at the International School of Louisiana will see the French stories they wrote for school come to life for the first time thanks to Loyola graphic design students. The college students, who turned the stories into animations with English subtitles, will unveil them for the children TODAY in Monroe Library, Loyola University New Orleans, Multimedia Room 2 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
