Friday 8/15 update on Mom. Shes off of the IV pain meds, and is talking to us, however is still sometimes slightly confused at times. She was able to eat lunch on her own and had a little dinner with help. The plan is to try to get her well enough to go to a regular room in the next several days. We have gone a 24 hour period without having a transfusion...its a huge step. Thanks to Charlie and Sally Jane Mullens for visiting yesterday as well as Jeff Dudley for visiting today and praying with us. Also much thanks to Bill Kessler for stopping and checking in everyday along with his sweet wife that always is there for us when were there with Mom. Thanks for all of the prayers! Theyre working!!! She still has a long way to go.
