Well I think issy learned a valuable lesson today! A couple weeks ago, while at her moms, she had her iPod outside and dropped it and shattered the screen. She was surprised to learn that we werent mad about it. When she got home from her moms we explained to her that she would be earning the money to fix her iPod bc we were not the ones that broke it. So today she has been working all day with me! Pulling weeds, trimming all the bushes, working the flowers and we washed the outside of the house and windows!! When we got done she asked so how much did I earn? So I asked her how much she thinks her efforts were worth! She immediately said $30! I said ill tell you what, ill pay you $3 an hour! She said so I only earned $12??!! I said yes mam! She was so shocked! I told her that money doesnt come easy to her dad and I and it wont come easy to her either! 9 times out of 10 you will feel like your worth much more than what your getting paid but u have to do your best anyways! I think she actually got it. And the best part was when she said mom I feel good that we did such a good job and the house looks pretty because of our hard work!! Lesson learned! Love her
