Friday，November 28th / 2014年11月28日 Frank McWeeny aka French Toast is one of those lucky people who discovered early what he liked doing then thought – why not? Having been presenting radio shows since 13 years old, he has been living out his musical passions full-time in London since 2008. Working tirelessly to find international stations today “French Toast” is aired on 10 stations in the UK and worldwide in France, Morocco, South Africa, China, Japan and the US. In order to keep up with the speed of musical development in the UK landscape Frank started a brand new Sunday evening radio show on one of the most cutting edge radio stations and biggest supporters of new and emerging artists: Amazing Radio. Keeping the same musical vibe but going the extra mile, playing music only from unsigned artists and independent record labels. Frank was given a gold award for Best Specialist Music Programming at the UK Student Radio Awards; and was nominated in as Rising Star at the UK’s most prestigious event in the radio calendar: the Radio Academy Awards. He has met and interviewed some of the most influential and exciting artists and has support from some of the finest in the industry such as Annie Mac & Gilles Peterson. He has recently been grooving up dancefloors in France, Germany, Spain, Iceland, USA & China; sharing lineups with the likes of Tensnake, Ben Pearce, Benoit & Sergio, Bok Bok, Baxter Beez, Mickey Zhang, Oshi and many more.
