Friday was Dr. Ken Mitchells last day as Superintendent of the South Orangetown Central School District after a distinguished tenure there. It’s been a privilege to work with Ken over the last few years on behalf of Orangetown. He is a community leader and a public intellectual, a man who seems uniquely able to translate research on education and child development into practical benefits for Orangetown kids and families.
