Friends, I dont usually do this, but if you could spare a dollar or two, this organization could definately use the help..........whatever you can afford, even just $1 from thousands of people adds up. $5 makes that total really grow. We are not asking for anyone to go broke, just a simple $1 or $5 donation to a great cause. SOAR(Saving Our Avian Resources) does amazing work. They currently have a Decorah Eaglet as a patient. These are the same eaglets I post about. It seems one was injured on his first flight and has a broken wing. Without the efforts of MANY people and the efforts of SOAR, this eaglet was doomed for death, but as any of you with pets know, vet bills are NOT cheap. While all Vet time is Voluntary, the organization still has the typical overhead of RENT(mortgage), electric/gas bills and others, such as supplying HUNDREDS of pound of Fish, rats and other feed for these birds to eat.
