Friends, I have avoided posting this on my status for the past few - TopicsExpress

Friends, I have avoided posting this on my status for the past few days because my sister-in-law was on a much needed vacation, and we did not want her to know so that she could get some rest and relaxation. Having just lost her husband, my brother, she did not need to worry about our mother, whom she loves just as if she were her own mother. But, she is back from vacation now, and has been told, so I am going to let the rest of you know. I posted some on Whats happening in and around Trinity county so that some of you could see and be praying. But now I am going to post on this public notice. My mom got really sick last weekend. On Sunday morning, I suspected she was having a stroke. So, I took her to the ER. She was admitted to the hospital, and the doctor determined she had pneumonia. Because she is 85, she will need antibiotics for an extended period of time. We took her to Conroe by ambulance on Tuesday. She is in Corner Stone, a long term care facility. Connie is sick, so has not been able to be there yet. The doctor cleared her to go this coming Monday, if she improves with the medication. On Christmas night, Shelia relieved me, and I started home. I was not feeling well. I had left Carl at home very sick. This morning, I will be going to the doctor to try to get something to shove this sickness off so that I can get back down and do my part. Please pray for my mom. Her health seems to be improving slowly. Pray for Shelias continue health. Pray for Connie. Hers is bronchitis. And pray for Carl and I. I need him well so that I can focus totally on Mom, and I need to be well because I need to be with Mom. So, friends, I ask that you pray diligently. God is in control. He is Good, and He is the Great Physician. He is giving the doctors and nurses the wisdom on how to treat this. Thank all of you. I love you and appreciate all of you more than you will ever know.
