Friends of Homeward Bound: Please consider joining us to participate in the North Country’s Out of Darkness Community Walk this Sunday, October 5th. These walks help raise awareness and funds for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The North Country Walk will be held at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid. While HBA is not making a financial contribution, suicide prevention is a cause close to our mission and our work with Veterans, and is a cause worthy of your support. If you are interested in participating, we ask that you meet Jordanna at the American Legion in Lake Placid at 12:00PM on Sunday and bring a $10 personal donation. We will all go over to the Oval together and register for the walk. Please share with your friends and family, and let me know if you have any questions.
