You all know Im trying very hard indeed to be a real writer and I really appreciate the sustained support you have given me for SO long. If you were thinking yeah, I might have a look at her new book Invincible sometime, or yeah, Ill get that for my neice/granddaughter/10-15 year old daughter can I ask a big favour? Can you buy it on Kindle/Amazon on or before this Wednesday? This will help it rank higher on Amazon when its launched on the 26th. And the higher the ranking, the more people who see it. The more people who see it, hopefully, the more who buy it. The more sales I get, the more its possible for me to write for you, rather than go out and get a real job. (Of course, if you werent thinking yeah, Ill have a look at that, dont feel pressured.) The other thing that really helps indie writers like me to make it so we dont eventually have to go work in chicken and chip shops is when people leave honest reviews online. Amazon and Goodreads are great places to give a star rating or a one liner (or, if youre really keen, an extensive, analytical book report).
