Fritz and Freda have been reunited with their family! These two sweet dogs were adopted from the SPCA in 2013 and had been micro-chipped prior to adoption. During the recent rainy weather, a caring person found two muddy, wet dogs out in the rain at a service station and brought them to the SPCA. When they arrived we immediately scanned them for a microchip and much to our surprise found out that these poor wet babies were two of our former pets. We immediately contacted the microchip company to obtain updated information for their family and a few days later we were finally able to make contact with the family. Tonight Fritz and Freda are back home thanks to their microchip! We love being able to reunite pets and their families.
