From Amanda: As we all know, Hopes story has been nothing but miraculous. She had survived and beat all odds... Well today was obviously a downfall and we returned to the vet to find out that despite gains, (4 more lbs!)that not all infections were gone. Well I dropped Hope back off at home after her visit and went back to work to finish the day. I came home tonight and sat on the floor with Hope and cried- its been a long week with other things going on, and Im so tired of seeing this girl in pain... And as awful as it sounds, I sat here and questioned do I have the financial ability to do this? The time from work? The stomach and emotional ability to watch her endure each and every painful procedure? Well Hope eventually jumped up and ran off (to her toy basket I assumed).. She returned and dropped this in my lap.. I was absolutely bewildered as to where she found it or where it came from.. But if you cant see it, it reads One Hope. Do I believe in fate? Not necessarily.. But I do believe it was a sign?... Absolutely! Hope has never been a quitter and the life lessons she has taught me and every other person whose life she has touched are invaluable.. As the song says When the going gets tough,the tough get going... There is no giving up! TeamHope
