From Joe Taubers campaign for Board of Education: Yesterday, I spent 3 wonderful hours at the Baum Center talking to our Senior Citizens regarding my candidacy for the Dare County School Board. Our Seniors want to know what how are we going to prepare our students to be successful post high school? I was able to share my thoughts on providing internships and apprenticeships to allow students to earn while they learn. I also discussed a Science and Technology Center, where our top science and mathematics students would receive college type instruction. Needless to say, I am working hard to win this election.
