From Nina Benscher: Im sorry to announce that I have had to resign from The Haemophilia Society. It is not to go onto a new role but to look after my terminally ill Grandmother. This was certainly not a decision taken lightly as I am extremely sad to leave a team that I believe will now be able to take the Charity to the next level, delivering amazing services that will generate more income. However, as you are all aware, there are times when family has to come first. I will stay in touch though, the team know that I am on hand to answer any questions and give extra support where and if I can. I will continue to support the bleeding disorder community as best I can until a point where I am not needed or I have to give my full attention to my grandparents. It has been a very difficult period but the community have grown from strength to strength and really got behind the only UK wide charity to support them. You have a good team here, doing everything in their power to do what they can for you – the future looks good! I would like to thank everyone for the huge amount of support they have shown me over the years. It has been a real pleasure and privilege to get to know so many of you and I sincerely wish you all the best for the future. If anyone is interested in applying for my role of Head of Fundraising and Communications, and you have managerial or Head of experience in either of these areas, do let me know and I can forward details as soon as they are confirmed.
