From Richard Rothschild: Enrollments are declining, we have - TopicsExpress

From Richard Rothschild: Enrollments are declining, we have excess infrastructure, and the Board of Education demands more money every year. We cannot continue to spend more and more on a system with fewer and fewer students. The Board of Education, aided and abetted by commissioners Doug Howard and Haven Shoemaker have added fuel to the false story line that we have slashed education funding. We have not... but it makes for good union and RINO talking points by those that want to raise taxes and spending. Our average teacher makes $58,141 for a 10 month work year, PLUS adders, curriculum writing upgrades, bonuses, and platinum pension and healthcare. I will not raise taxes on the private sector to give annual raises... especially considering the average private sector citizen makes $40K per year.
