From Ross K: Immigration is going to be a huge political football for the next few months (at least). Its important to separate the policy questions (what should our immigration system look like?) versus the process questions (does the president have the authority to do this?). Obama has admitted many times in the past that he does not have the authority to do what hes about to do. And thats just not OK even if you are mostly happy with the end result.
