From Transportation Regimental CSM: Team, I wanted to bring an issue to your attention! As part of the implementation of ALARACT 126/2014 (Synchronization of the NCO Education System with promotions, the Enlisted Promotions Branch has identified a population of 6,709 SGTs that have not completed SSD-2. Effective 9 January 2015, those NCOs will be removed from the Promotion Recommended List (PRL) and will not be eligible for promotion consideration without completion of SSD-2. The team at HRC is working closely with TRADOC to monitor the completion status of those Soldiers, but this will potentially have an impact on not only the promotable status of these NCOs, but may also affect the readiness of our Army. Relook in your formations for those that may fall in this category. ~12th
