From a follower: I would just like to send a shout out to MPD. I dont live in city limits so I was unaware if this. My daughter,g-daughter and I were visiting a friend that lives on Church St. My daughter walked the kids to 7-11 for a slurpee. When they got back my g-daughter excitedly showed me her good ticket she got from an officer. She said the officer pulled over and called them over. They got a good ticket for holding hands crossing the street. The ticket had a token to Dairy Queen attached to it. I was as happy as the kids over it! I think it is great that they brought attention to good behavior and rewarded them for it! Such a positive thing for the children! (14)
