From and AVN tech friend of mine there is no time to be found when more time is spent on maintaining serviceable aircraft than flying hours. Where there might be a problem with his Aircraft maintenance strategy, I agree with his theory. There is a lot of excess weight that can be trimmed from the forces. A lot! I will never understand how a government organization can hemorrhage money the way the military does on arbitrary BS, and at the same time complain about budget cuts. Perfect example; changing the CF to the CAF, changing of formation names, and changing of rank structures and names. Endeavour which will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, but will have zero effect of capabilities or effectiveness. All of this being a slap in the face to members facing release under the New Veterans Charter, like myself.
