From the British Medical Journal : Circumcision reduces the risk of UTI. Given a risk in normal boys of about 1%, the number-needed-to-treat to prevent one UTI is 111. ...... Haemorrhage and infection are the commonest complications of circumcision, occurring at rate of about 2%. Assuming equal utility of benefits and harms, net clinical benefit is likely only in boys at high risk of UTI. That says that in healthy boys theres a 1% risk of a UTI and a 2% risk of hemorrhage and infection from circumcision. Considering UTIs can be safely and painlessly treated with antibiotics, it is not medically or ethically justifiable to circumcise every healthy boy to prevent UTIs. adc.bmj/content/90/8/853.full https://youtube/watch…
