From the Children’s Room We’ve all said it. Each and every one of us. “I don’t know the title or the author, but the cover was…” You can fill in that blank—red, blue, green, yellow, orange, whatever. The funniest part of it is that sometimes when you finally find that special book again, the cover is white. Or beige. Or black. Anything but the color that you thought it was. Maybe the title was printed in your color, maybe there was a border or some part of the cover image was that color. However it came about, that color is what stood out to you. In honor of this phenomenon, we have a display of books in the Children’s Room that were chosen by the colors of their covers. Why don’t you come on in and check one out? And if none of them appeals to you, feel free to take a book about frogs and toads. Or the life cycle of plants. Or the stars and space. Whatever you’re looking for, we’re sure to have a book on the subject. Oh, we also have lots of special stuff going on for Children’s Book Week. So come and pay us a visit!
