From the Uof L archives, view from the parking lot of sumners hardware looking down greenwood rd. To the left is the Sego and melloan Sunoco station (now white castle) the brick building on the right is the Bell telephone building , later phoenix records, and the house behind that is the Hollis family home, and beyond that Jug o milk. Not visible on the right the later location of Bill Whites Sunoco now Walgreens. i think it was a DX station when this pic was taken. note the car at the light is a Corvair! Not many of those around now . I lived five houses down on the left.
