From the days of Adam and Even unto this present hour, parents have had to deal with the sorrow of having one or more children (even the ones who PROFESS to be saved) that are seemingly not following the right path (that path is a continuum that goes from slight swerving to out and out rebellion against what they and we KNOW is right before God). WE as parents have that ONE or more children who are walking THEIR Damascus Road which for US as parents HURTS and TORTURES our souls! I would like to say to any parents out there dealing with this. BE ENCOURAGED BECAUSE GOD HAS A DATE AND TIME SET IN HIS APPOINTMENT BOOK FOR YOUR CHILD(REN)!! OUR job is to CONTINUALLY intercede for them and surrender them to God (MUCH easier SAID than done I KNOW). If there is a FATHER in the home that PROFESSES to KNOW God, HE NEEDS TO BE LEADING OUT IN INTERCEDING FOR HIS CHILDREN AND COVERING THEM IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS. You have raised them up in the things of God as best you can (LIVING an example before I HOPE) and now WE must do what Moses mom had to do when she put him in a basket and let him float downstream (OUT OF HER REACH AND CONTROL!! but SAFE in the SOVEREIGN hands of God!). HE knows their ADDRESS, their CELL NUMBER, their EMAIL ADDRESS, and KNOWS how to REACH them in a way that they will know beyond ANY shadow of doubt that it was HE! Pray that they experience their PENUEL moment. Penuel was the place here Jacob WRESTLED with God and when it was all done GOD changed his NAME (symbolic of character). Pray that they make it safely through THEIR Damascus Road experience and respond like Saul/Paul in Acts 9:6 after being KNOCKED OFF OF HIS HIGH HORSE Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? BE ENCOURAGED fellow parents!! Pray for ME and MY children also:) Thank you :)
