From the desk of the Good Reverend: History lesson time. Might be the kind of history lesson that steps on Republican toes, but who cares what those bigots think right? Get this, I have seen several historical surveys that rank Obama among the top ten modern presidents. In fact, the most recent study I saw ranks the top ten best and top ten worst modern presidents. Obama is on the ten best list, as Bush 43 is on the ten worst list. But lets examine it further, as on the ten best list there were 7 Democrats and 3 Republicans. Vice versa, on the ten worst list there were only 3 Democrats and a whopping 7 Republicans. It begs this question: Why are Democrats 40% better at being president than Republicans. Moreover, if the Republicans are so bad, why do we still take them seriously? They are the people who got mad over the Coca-Cola America the Beautiful ad, they are the ones who resist the changing racial demographic in America, and they oppose equal rights even though they claim to be the party of freedom.
