From time to time we re arrange the display area in the workshop building (AKA the Big Shed) and this is the most recent attempt. To the left is a portable two bay shearing plant powered by a Petter petrol engine which we hope to have at the Warkworth A&P Show in January next year. just in front of it is one of the 4 Allen of Oxford sickle mowers we have powered by a Mk 25 Villiers engine. The big engine in the centre is an Allan Oil Engine and we believe it to be the only one in New Zealand it was built in Aberdeen in around 1905 and was imported by Twigg Engineering of Auckland. behimd that are two Anderson engines one driving a blue grist mill that grinds maize and oyster shells, a Twigg engine is between them driving a water pump. The scales to the rear is sitting on a marble counter top that came from Gubbs Butchers many years ago. On the right hand side of the shed is a Masport engine which drives our fixed shearing plant via an over head live drive, this also drives the comb grinder for sharpening the shears and a water pump, between that and the Anderson in the foreground is a collection of assorted manual and powered lawn mowers, a model breakdown mill built by one of the team in the workshop is located just inside the door
