The film premiered in a limited way in the El Capitan Theatre on November 27, 2013.4 to be finally launched in all cinemas on December 20. It is the first Disney animated film of Pixar not winning an Oscar for best animated film, and was the second film in the franchise to win Disney princesses; Brave being first.
