Funny thing happened yesterday. The 9th grade gym classes at Box Elder Middle School came in yesterday. The girls gym teacher, Mrs. Hyde told me that she was teaching the girls how to score in bowling last week. The girls were questioning why they would ever need to do their own scores in bowling since the computer does it all. She told them that computers can go down and other problems can make it necessary for them to write down their own scores by hand. Well guess what? Our main computer system went down over the weekend. We could turn the lanes on, but it couldnt do the automatic scoring.on Monday. The school groups had to record their own scores by hand. Everything is back up today and working fine, but I find it a little humorous that Mrs. Hyde response to her class was proven to be true.
