Repost from Craig Rose... One of my athletes asked about using PLEXUS products for losing weight for the upcoming baseball season. I decided to do some research. Most of Plexus products are banned in Canada and Australia! PLEXUS Contains an undeclared banned chemical Dimethyamylamine (DMAA) medically looks like amphetamines, and can cause you to pop positive on a drug test. Big red flag for me. (Also the reason they took Plexus products off Amazon.) Dimethylamylamine and its also called Methylhexaneamine! Risks associated with its use include high blood pressure, psychiatric disorders, bleeding in the brain and stroke. Here is a link providing the information from the Australian goverment on October 2014 from testing the product: I think I would stay away from the Chemical Soup and stick to a balanced diet and exercise.
