Funny thing, the management books that I am reading for my masteral class teach students about planning, leading, organizing and controlling. And yes, it is true. These are what managers do. But the Word of God has a deeper sense of truth about these things. Psalms 32 talks about 4 promises: that we will be instructed, taught, counselled and watched over. But at the end of it is an expectation that we gain understanding, and we will do what is required of us without the need to dictate on us, similarly how a horse is made to obey. As learned human beings and more so guided by the Word of God, let us do what is right, not because we are forced to do it, but because we find it in our heart, mind and soul to do it.
