This includes SEM/SEO, Affiliate Marketing, E-mail, Social Media Advertising, Display Media, and new media opportunities. The day-to-day management will include e-commerce customer acquisition, retention and performance optimization across campaigns. Responsibilities Leads and manages a digital marketing team to be aligned around the same priorities and to deliver business results. Provides expertise in developing and adapting strategies for SEM, Affiliate Marketing, Personalization, Email Marketing, Customer Acquisition and Retention, Social Engagement and Brand Media. Partner with Merchandising and Business Operations to develop the marketing and promo calendar that drives overall brand initiatives for the market. This includes developing communications plans that support new product launch campaigns, growing core product sales, and supporting desired channel mix of business. · Ensure online marketing plans and programs are implemented in a manner consistent with the brand and coordinates with traditional marketing activities. Develop strategies that increase traffic demand and conversion. Maintain extensive knowledge of consumer-related e-commerce trends, and the marketing plans and programs of target competitors. Lead, negotiate and manage strategic relationships with third party Internet marketing business partners and vendors. Manage vendor relationships, enforce service level agreements, and define long-term direction for marketing services that should be managed internally vs. externally. Partners and works cross functionally (Site Merchandising, Analytics, Technology and In-Store Marketing) to understand business needs, marketing integration points and performance expectations. Assists in defining success metrics and reporting needs for campaigns Provide direction and directives to direct reports in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities, and in achieving company initiatives. Establishes processes and best practices that enable team collaboration and day-to-day efficiencies. Works closely and effectively with other senior managers in the planning and execution of business plans. Prepares executive leadership communication and presentations to influence better business decisions Forecasts channel needs based on traffic plans and manages channel budgets based on ROI metrics · Own key portions of the digital P& ;L. Manage expenses and drive increasing ROI on marketing dollars. · Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and approved budget reconciliation · Report any budget issues with recommendations for resolutions QUALIFICATIONS: · Must have a proven track record of 7-10 years of database, direct and online marketing including at least 5-7 years in a commercially minded role. eCommerce experience strongly preferred. · Must be able to translate brand vision to the online channel and execute strategies that lead the company consistently towards that vision. Must mirror the values and positioning of the brand at all times. · ; Strong skills in strategy and planning, budget and P&L management, marketing and vendor selection and management · Proven leadership and team management skills derived from having direct responsibility for building and managing a cohesive, high-performing team · Ability to take initiative and own this portion of the business.
