GAMBLERS: I need help with some lingo. I dont know anything about sports gambling... My script has a guy, Howard, who is deep in debt to the mob. To score some cash, he tries to fix a fight. He pays a fighter to take a dive. But... the fighter double-crosses him and wins by KO. Yikes. So... I need Howard to lose $100,000 on this. Obviously, he didnt bet a hundred grand. How much would he have actually wagered? 10 grand? 50? It depends on what the odds were, right? Yall help me out here.... (true story: someone read my script and said well, I can tell that you dont know shit about gambling... lol) Thanks.
