Last week he had only 2 catches for 12 yards. START OF THE WEEK- QB: Ben Roethlisberger vs Jacksonville - The Jags have given up about 24 ppg to quarterbacks this season.. Roethlisberger has thrown two or more touchdowns in 5 of him last 6 games. Look for another big day for Big Ben. Philip River vs New York Jets -- Rivers remains one of the hottest quarterbacks in the league, for the last three games, hes thrown for 250+ yards or more and has thrown for 8 touchdowns in that span. Eli Manning vs Atlanta Falcons -- Eli Manning has looked like the Eli Manning of old. In the past two games Manning has thrown for over 530 yards and 6 touchdowns to only 1 interceptions. Last week the Falcons gave up over 300 yards through the air to rookie Teddy Bridgewater, with Eli hitting his stride recently, he could be in for a big day. SLEEPER: Alex Smith vs 49ers -- While it doesnt look like a favorable matchup for Smith, hes thrown 6 touchdowns the past two games and has completed 76% of his passes in both game. Hes taking care of the ball and making smart decision, it was on display last Monday night vs New England. RB: Rashad Jennings vs Atlanta Falcons -- Atlanta hasnt been too good vs the run this season, as a matter of fact, they rank 30th in the league vs the run. Rashad Jennings could be in for a big day. Giovani Bernard vs New England Patriots -- The Patriots run defense from weeks 2 & 3 looked good, they were able to stop the run against opposing teams, but in weeks 1 and 4 they were gashed, they gave up over 190 on the ground to the Dolphins (Week 1) and over 200 yards to the Chiefs (last week). This could be a good matchup for Bernard -- also look for him to be utilized heavy in the passing game, the Patriots struggled with Jamaal Charles in the passing game last week. Frank Gore vs Kansas City Chiefs -- Gore exploded last week vs the Eagles, he was over 100 yards on the ground and had a 50+ yard touchdown reception. Look for the 49ers to continue to use him today, although they might be without Anthony Davis. WR/TE: Steve Smith vs Indianapolis Colts -- Smith has been on a tear through the past two weeks, well really all season, hes had over 100+ yards receiving in 3 of the last 4 games, and has been Joe Flaccos favorite target so far this season.. Smith could be in for another big game today. AJ Green vs New England Patriots -- Green is coming off an injury and faces a tough task going up against Revis Island, however, Revis this season hasnt looked the same as were use to seeing him, the Patriots are playing him different and teams have been picking on him this season (including rookie Derek Carr in week 3). Green is no doubt Daltons favorite target so look for him to go to him tonight. Larry Donnell vs Atlanta Falcons -- Donnell has slowly transformed into one of Eli Mannings favorite targets, and last week it showed as he caught 3 touchdowns vs the Washington Redskins. Look for Eli Manning to try to keep that trend going and continue to get the ball to Donnell. Emmanuel Sanders vs Arizona Cardinals -- This doesnt seem like a great matchup for Sanders since Arizona has one of the best defenses in the league, however, Sanders has #18 throwing him the ball and hes also #18s favorite target so far this season. Sanders had 11 catches for 150 yards against the Seahawks in week 3, and now with Wes Welker back, we could see Sanders get more favorable matchups. Martellus Bennett vs Carolina Panthers -- Cutler has looked for Bennett a lot in the red-zone, hes also been one of his favorite targets as Marshall and Jeffery deal with nagging injuries they continue to play through. Look for Cutler to go to his big TE today. SITS OF THE WEEK: Tom Brady vs Cincinnati Bengals Kirk Cousins vs Seattle Seahawks Larry Fitzgerald vs Denver Broncos DeSean Jackson vs Seattle Seahawks Montee Ball vs Arizona Cardinals Stevan Ridley vs Cincinnati Bengals Jason Witten vs Houston Texans Travis Kelce vs San Francisco 49ers
