GDVs comments on stage 11 “Its another stage done. A very fast stage. In the middle it was really, really very slippery, a lot of mud in the middle so I was really careful there not to go off the road; theres no point. Otherwise we just went at a good pace and just tried to keep up good concentration. We saw what happened to Yazeed this morning. I feel very, very sorry for him because he did a really good job. This race is never over until you get to the finishing line. We have to keep focused and we have to keep pushing. I also have to thank my team-mate Leroy for waiting for me and following me for the whole stage. It was a very nice gesture. So far I think its been very great, a very good race up until now. Especially weve been able to fight with the Minis and with Nasser up front. You know, we only really had one bad day which cost us the race, but I think we can be very satisfied. Weve made big steps forward with Hilux and its good for the future”.
