GETTING SCHOOLED Not very many know that about 25 years ago I trained in martial arts... what attracted me then was the structure and discipline that took to practice, and especially the full contact sparring that we looked forward at the end of the work out. In the meantime it was translating into building character and self control. Little Id know then that decades later Id be instrumental in promoting a program with children in my Sacred Valley... and becoming a very successful program. When I look at the childrens excitement in anticipation of sparring, I nostalgically relive those moments past...pure joy. On a humorous note: PHOTO #1...
