GETTING TO KNOW: REUBEN RAMAHLARE...... Reuben was born in Bochum (Limpopo Province South Africa) many moons ago…. He started singing in 1993 choir called Christ Ambassadors then later joined a well-known choir in the area called Mohodi king Street Gospel Choir lead by the legend & his uncle Mr Montgomery Falatsi. This was until he went to Gauteng/Ivory Park in 1998 to further his studies, and there he joined Baoki Ba Morena Gospel Choir then Bautlwi Ba Lentswe where he has learned more about “Serorisi bits and creativity on songs” under the guidance of Mr. David (Maradona). He then moved to Kempton Park and due to the distance he Joined Lejwe La Motheo Gospel Choir under the leadership Mr Lucas Matentjie who introduced him into the Music Publishing industry via LTM Music Publishers which produced choirs like Bana Ba Sefapano, African Vocalists, Montgomery Falatsi, Sediba Sa Bophelo etc. He then later established Lovely Tunes Music Publishers which he is the founder and the managing director being Mr. Patrick Monareng. This is where he has produced and released the following choirs…. -Bana Ba Sefapano both - CD & DVD -Balatedi Ba Morena (Holokile) -Lejwe La Motheo -(Ke Dumetse) -Thandeka Music Group – (Vuthelani) -St Pauls Gospel Choir – Cape Town (Omphomotsa) -Bless Them All – Cape Town -Daveyton Holy Singers -Bafepiwa Ba Morena (Alexandre) -Dipaki Tsa Morena (Tembisa) -Bana Ba Ma-Afrika (Tembisa) -Bahlabanedi Ba Lentswe (Daveyton) -Batlhopilweng Ke Morena (Daveyton) -Holy Revival Gospel Choir (Dzaneen) -The Believers Gospel Choir (Polokwane) – Thato Ya Hao •He is the co-founder of FESACTA group •He is the PRO of Balatedi Ba Morena Gospel Train * He is the founder of Botswana Gospel Choir Group which is giving birth to Botswana Gospel Choir Forum the one that is currently being introduced in different areas in Botswana. • Professionally he is a Human Resources Business Partner @ South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), where he is responsible for the following:- Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Change Management, Organizational Development etc... with that experience he is offering both Music/singing training and Committee workshops to the choirs/groups in need. Choirs that have interacted with him on these grounds are (ST Pauls Gospel Choir, Bless Them All, Daveyton Choirs (choir management workshop – roles & responsibilities), Bafepiwa Ba Morena, Babiditsweng Ke Lentswe, FGAC, St John Phapane Mochudi, Setlhowa Sa Tumelo, Ditsala Moreneng, Bana Ba Ebenezer - Witbank) He has ran competitions in Tembisa, Soweto, Cape Town and Mogale City. This was done with the help of Patrick BraGib Monareng, Eric Kekana and Isaia Ramaoka. Reubens wish is to see this genre grow and receive the best respect it deserves. For that he will do whatever it takes to develop those in need and produce the best quality music for those choirs interested.
