GIVERS GET AND GETTERS GIVE (38) give, and gifts shall be bestowed on you. Full measure, pressed, shaken down, and running over, shall they pour into your laps; for with the same measure that you use they shall measure to you in return." Luke 6:38 WNT I have found that giving is a wonderful way of living. Now let me caution you with a bit of wisdom, you’ve got to give by God’s unction before this word will function. It amazes me how God can pour out a blessing in the midst of famine. He increased Isaac’s crop a hundred fold when by faith he sowed in famine, many times God bids us to sow when it looks like there is no rain in sight, when it looks like our seed will dry up and wither away. But if God is truly the author of the unction, there will be a harvest time, and harvest time is in his hands, so don’t worry about your seed. All through my ministry I have been a giver, and because I’ve been a giver; I’ve been a getter, and on and on the cycle goes. Most Christians don’t have too much of a problem giving when they have an abundance, but when things get meager they begin to tighten the reins of their financial and other giving. Many times rightly so, in order to be responsible to their debtors or to pay their bills. I can testify that I have given several cars to people God put it on my heart to give to, and true to God’s word and unction, I have received several cars freely the last one was really nice 15 passenger van, which gave us a lot of good service and was instrumental in the ministry to get food for the poor and needy. I have given pulpit furniture away, pews, P.A. systems, and on and on I could go; and praise God what I have given away comes back to me in the same way but more abundantly. I have found a key in this verse that has proven to be true time and time again. When I give out of my need by the unction of the Lord, God blesses me more abundantly than if I give out of my abundance. All I have to do is listen when he is speaking to me, and be obedient and then wait patiently upon Him to bring in the Harvest. What an Awesome God we serve who blesses us to be a blessing! (8) And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that ye always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: (9) (As it is written, He hath dispersed; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. (10) Now may he that ministereth seed to the sower, both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) (11) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. 2nd Corinthians 9:8-11 Webster Agape Y’all & Shalom, Ray………………………………
