GM We should LIVE by FAITH, WALK by FAITH, & const-antly exercise faith. Believe, therefore, what our GOD has said of HIMSELF, of HIS designs toward us, & of HIS care over us. Believe in DA PRECIOUS PROMISES HE has MADE to us, in da SWEET assurances HE has given to us, & in da oath HE has taken to SECURE us. Believe GOD, speaking in HIS word, let Providence work as it may. Believe GOD, & then we can concede HIM time to work, then we can TRUST HIM in da gloo-miest day & in da darkest night. Believe GOD, & then we will ENJOY PERFECT PEACE, as says the we will keep him in perfect peace, whose MIND is staid on us, bcuz HE trusts in us. Wait on GOD, believing that HE will fulfill HIS WORD, CONFIRM OUR FAITH, illus-trate HIS CHARACTER. Bel-ieve GOD, & WAIT on HIM, that HE may perform HIS PROMISES, ANSWER OUR PRAYERS, & REJOICE over us to do us GUD. Take GOD at HIS WORD, & end-eavor to REST upon it. Grasp DA PROMISE firmly, & REFUSE to let it go. Doubting & fearing can do us no gud; but believing GOD, & STAYING on HIS WORD, will be of incalculable BENEFIT to us. BELIEVE, therefore, & WAIT. WAIT & BELIEVE. WATCH DA HAND of GOD as it works in NATURE; but remember that it is moved by DA HEART of GOD, which is correctly represented in HIS WORD. We may MISTAKE da mea-ning of his works much eas-ier than upcoming can da mean-ing of HIS WORD; & there-fore let HIS WORD dwell in our RICHLY, ruling our JUDGEMENT, & controll-ing our thoughts. Watch da working of DA HOLY SPIRIT in our HEART, & mark da desires HE AWAKENS, DA GRACES HE QUICKENS, da checks HE gives, & da consolation HE imparts. WAIT on da LORD to CARRY on HIS work within us, & watch, Expecting him to do it.
