GOING TO THE MOTHER SHIP TO TELL MY STORY! For once - I am speechless. We are headed WEST to share our story of survival and inspiration! Many of you know I joined a clinical trial just one year ago to combat the umpteenth return of my cancer in my hip/pelvis. I have had AMAZING results - last scans Aug 25 - tumor reduced by 28%! Our drug has had such amazing results, Pfizer (who makes the magic meds) has asked me to speak at their year end Town Hall meeting in La Jolla, CA! There will be over 800 folks there - read the story below - and I get a chance to let these folks know how INCREDIBLE they are - the drug they invented is - and hopefully get the red tape rolling faster so more of my fellow survivors can get access to this life saving drug sooner. Typically it can take 5-7 years for a drug to go to market from clinical trial stage - and I have sisters and brothers out there with our cancer that wont live that long. So this week - we are giving thanks for so many things - and I cannot wait to shout THANK YOU from the podium to the Pfizer team.
