GOOD MORNING ALL YOU WONDERFUL FACEBOOKERS!!! Had a awesome evening with some good people at the 4th Annual Volunteer Jam. I must say I amazed myself. All the years of public speaking and the time off from it. Made for a great experience last night. My father played his flute while I delivered what I could say was a truly blessed speech. I told my story and command the crowd. I used my volume and could tell they actually were listening. When I left the stage, they were shaking my hand and calling me by my first name. Telling me to keep going and to make sure I keep telling my story. I meditated on what I was going to say as my father played his first couple of tunes, then I figured order of ideas, then from brain to tongue it rolled. I felt comfortable being back in front of the lights and the crowd, it was like coming home. I know I am ready for the next challenge in my career. I am looking at changing that career, when my people elect me to office as a leader. To lead from a good place and hold steady and true to my goals. Always strive for the next greatest and I will be exactly that! To continue to reach for the stars and beyond the skies. Like my dad said "Tahgoove Payave!" (The Sky) Blowing kisses in the wind--Take all that you need!! What more can I say?? Except now--Charge on into the weekend!! Time for the next challenge. Run the White Mesa Bear Dance Pow-wow!!! So come out and join us if you are in our neighborhood. We have some good friends from the Hopi Reservation host drumming! Will be awesome to see and hear them.
