GOOD MORNING JACKSON..Tuesday..70 degrees here on the Ridge..Walked outside to breathe some fresh Mountain.. AIR...Then came in and sat on my Deacons Bench and..Talked and Prayed to God and JESUS...then began to think about a bumper sticker I saw yesterday that Read..If..you can..read..this Thank a Teacher..and memories of all those who have taught me over the years came rushing to the fore front of my mind..From my Grandma and Uncle to the Professional ones who I had when starting school and how everything I know or think was sparked by their kind methods of giving me information that would help me through life..The Alphabet..then reading and understanding what the Author was saying was taught to me by a Teacher..and then after going to Church and depending on a Preacher to inform me of Gods Love for us and why he created us..I now could read the Bible myself and interpret it through language I learned in school...and read the words of the greatest teacher who ever lived..JESUS..Gods only begotten Son who explained the purpose of everything in a loving way that everyone could understand..Yes if not for a Teachers our lives would not be special..and us what seperarates us from all other living Creatures..All of us have teachers in our past that affected us in so many ways..taught us..rewards with hugs for a job well done and we lived for their acceptance..a gold star or a smile was so valuable as a small child...I live with a Professional Teacher snd even though retired she continues to try and teach me how to act and what to say...And our life here in the mountains as tough as it has been was improved and we were able to compete anywhere..from one room School Houses to the Large Brick elementary and High Schools continue this same level and excellence of education folks get everywhere else..Now Diane has continued part time assisting young teachers..like Britni. Angie,and Angie and others..because once a teacher always a teacher..24/7..On FB..I read posts from teachers who are dedicated from Margaret to so many others I shouldnt mention names because Ill leave someone out...But we all know them..Diane sees former students every day and their children and even some of their childrens children..Better hush before I make her seem older than she is but..over thirty years teaching you have a lot of students...I was on the School Board for many years and welcomed the opinion of teachers.. to improve our system..and..sometimes ignored the..Higher ups who from getting caught up in administration..that they sometimes loose touch with the needs of the children..not to put them down but I think they should have to spend some time in the class room..just to see whats going on..So no real point today but if not for teachers like Liz and Janie..(I knew I should not start mentioning names for fear of leaving all those out that should be mentioned)..but you know them..Just musing and that gets me into trouble..but for you the reader to be able to enjoy FB and read this post we owe a teacher...Well thats all I Have to Say About That...So get up and Thank God and JESUS for Another Day of Life.,Talk and Pray to them for guidance and meditate to receive their blessings through your soul and spirit..Do Something nice for Someone ELSE and..God and JESUS will Bless us ALL..enjoy and have a Happy Day..But WILL TALK LATER..if those teachers I didnt mention by name arent mad at me.....LOVE JERRY...
