GOOD MORNING MTSU! PLENTY OF HEAT TO START THE WEEK After starting in the 60s this morning, look for highs in the low 90s this afternoon across most of Middle Tennessee. The sky will be mostly sunny. Thanks to a light northeast breeze, the humidity wont be too bad. Lows tonight drop to the low 60s. Highs may flirt with the middle 90s Tuesday and Wednesday. The sky will be partly cloudy and a stray shower or thundershower is possible, mainly north of I-40, as the humidity increases each afternoon. The chance is only 10% and 20%, respectively. An upper level low pressure passing across the region will increase the rain and storm chance on Friday and Saturday to 40%. There may be some locally heavy rain at times, keeping highs in the 80s. We may have to increase those rain chances as that weather system gets closer to the Mid-South. Tropical Storm Bertha is hanging on and may strengthen a bit before bypassing the east coast and heading out into the North Atlantic later this week. Todays weather was brought to you by Lee Company
