GOT MY ABSENTEE BALLOT TODAY!!!!! I received my California absentee ballot today via email and will take a week or so to study the issues and investigate the candidates before returning. It was not a HUGE hassle registering but a lot more difficult than if I was in California. Turns out I can return by fax, only caveat being it will not be secret. I can live with that, since I plaster my political views all over the internet to anyone who will listen. Hell, I even sing my views and have them reviewed!!! I hope everyone eligible registered and plans on voting…I used to believe my vote meant nothing …. until I realized I had nothing but my vote. Not to use the one weapon we have means to go down without a fight. Now…you might say…what difference will it make when the system is rigged. I did, or used to….until I realized something. People get very progressive ideas put on the ballot…..I know I see some on this one I received. Well…when these progressive issues pass…those in power will see that the mindset of the 99% is solidifying. This will force them to give us a little more of what we want and deserve. And then a little more…and a little more. These are not stupid people and they may eventually realize they can give us a bigger share or they will lose it all. I am not one for an armed revolution…too messy. But this way will require patience…hey they took it away a little at a time…we can use their game plan and get it back a little at a time…but it will require being as dedicated to getting it back as they were to taking it. And in the famous words of someone…oh yeah ..me…We have to start somewhere…why not here... why not now!
