GREAT WEEKEND VISITORS This past weekend we received some special treats at Hope Mansion. Beginning with Friday evening, 3 couples who are part of the Cornerstone Bible Church small group - located in Cedar Hill - blessed us with a wonderful potluck meal. Much thanks and appreciation to Hope Mansion volunteer Jennifer Wulf and her family for arranging the visit and the meal. The food was delicious, and the fellowship outstanding! Even watched a great movie and played games! Then on Saturday afternoon, a very unique and exotic fellowship: Jeremy and Nouma Thaickal of Mansfield treated the House to an exotic meal from her Guyanese roots, cooked in our kitchen. Noumas father, Surendra Parsan, who was born in the South American country of Guyana, came all the way from his home in Brooklyn, New York to be a part of this special blessing. We feasted on Guyanese Curry Chicken and basmati rice, Roti, and for dessert - Peanut Cream pudding. Yummie!! And we got to learn about the history and various cultures of Guyana. We love special visits and fellowship opportunities from friends and family!
