Garlic pull-apart rolls 🐝Recipe🐝 Ingredients Wheat flour 1 cup Maida 1 cup Warm water 3/4 th cup Dry yeast 1/2 tbsp Salt1 tsp Sugar 1/2 tsp Olive oil 1/2 tbsp Sesame seeds Aniseeds 1/2 tbsp , saunf Chilli garlic spread Butter 3 tbsp Garlic 3 cloves or more ,bruised Chilli flakes1 tsp Green coriander 2 tsp chopped Salt Mixed herbs opt Method Mix warm water, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Let it proof for 5 to 10 mts. Mix together atta, maida,salt., and the saunf. The yeast should become frothy, by now. Add the yeast to this dry mixture, mix well. U might get a sticky dough. Keep kneading till it becomes smooth . Cover and keep in a draft free place, to prove. Keeping it covered with a kitchen towel is good enough. Or else cling wrap can be usedkeep it till it doubles in size...1 hr. Get the garlic chilli spread ready, by mixing everything . Grease a baking pan or round loaf tin, or whichever shape tin u have.use butter or oil for greasing. Take out the dough, knock the air out of it. Apply olive oil to your hands and Knead it again for 3 mts or so. Divide the dough into two parts. This is the final punched out and kneaded dough Dust your platform with flour and your rolling pin too. Roll out into 1/2 inch thick rectangle. The garlic chilli spread shown below Spread the rolled out dough with the garlic chilli spread, with a spoon, uniformly U may divide the dough into two parts to make it easier to roll out or just roll the whole dough , if its convenient. Once the spread is put onto the rolled dough, start rollong it tightly from one end,with both hands ,like a swiss roll.it should be a firm roll Cut into 6 to 8 pieces of roll. Repeat the same process with the rest of the half of dough. Arrange them with the cut side up as shown in the picture above in the greased pan. Brush with milk, or egg wash. Spread the left over garlic mixture on top with the help of a brush Allow it to rise again for 1/2 hr. Preheat oven to 180 C or 375 F Bake them till golden brown, or for 25 mts. Just before removing , u can add some mozzarella cheese grated on top, leave till it melts, and take it out. Enjoy your fresh home made gatlic pull apart rolls. Tip... This is the metal pastry cutter, very handy, used to cut the rolls. .
